The end of October is here, and so it’s my blog.
Well… for a long time, I’ve known that my social media posts are LONG… and as I was writing a post today, I had enough. Enough of thinking about starting a blog to not have to stop myself when I’m writing, because I guess I have a lot to say, JAJAJA (I laugh in Spanish, sometimes, LOL). So today, October 31, 2025, have taken action to collect my thoughts in the form of a blog.
I can’t tell you how many times I thought “I can start a blog”, “Maybe I’ll write a blog”, “What if I wrote a blog?”, and other variations of it. And as I am confessing this in public, I realized that I hadn’t because… (are you ready?)… I felt unqualified. Me, writing a blog? When I started college in the U.S. at the age of 21, I had to take “remedial” English. I learned how to speak English when I was 17, but really started learning how to write in my early 20s. And I was never complimented for its high quality. I remember taking advanced writing English classes and just barely passing. I guess those bruises were still hurting. But today, as I type this blog - which is actually my second entry, because why would I start from the beginning? LOL, I realize that I’m going to have some fun here. And whatever was stopping me from doing this, no longer has the power to stop me… I’m here.
To be 100% transparent, I don’t have a plan - all those things someone told you you’re supposed to have, you know the “shoulds”… “You should know who you’re writing for, what topics, how often you’re going to post, blah, blah, blah…” I will do it as often as I can. The who, for the crazy souls who have the attention span to read more than a 5-second social media post. The content: my journey to the most authentic version of myself. From my day to day, the joys of life, the challenges that are there to help me grow, if I allow them to do so. The ups and downs, such as it is my life (and probably yours, too). Most likely, you will receive a word of encouragement and faith, along with some challenges for you to consider for your own growth journey. I know this is part of my divine design, so just putting it out there.
So, if you’re reading this. Thank you!
